for the far free kick mednasah has a tactic that is quite effective. You manualy chose the free player who is on the wing. you run out the the sidline, do a U turn and start sprinting on a straight line to the passing path of the freekick taker, as soon as he is just infront of the passing line you press Triangle, the runner gets the ball with a good pace and you score with a finesse shot.

This sounds interesting. I think I've never encountered it ever though, would have to try it myself to see how consistently it works in games against skilled players, but definitely an option worth considering.

Thanks! Fun story I read "comet" kick and was like what have I been missing all these years until I realized it's r + n and not m😁 I'm using the popular method here, select a player and then run towards your corner kick taker, but a bit further back of the pitch. Then switch away from him so he returns to his position, switch to a player with strong aerial abilities, and move him a bit closer to your corner kick taker and make a cross to him once he is in front of the opponent's player. Then you just try to head it to one of your other players (likely the one who had before is just passing by) and then it's either score directly or another pass to a player in a better position. It's a very common method especially among the top players, I'm sure you've already seen it.

Always like 65-75% power? Had the imperession that you need much less power in order to score if you are close to the box. Even struggling with players with +90 Free Kick Taking

If you mean very close to the box like sub 20m, it's hard to score these consistently because the wall is so close to the goal, the ball has little travel time to fall down after it passed the wall. If you had more success with less power, perhaps you're moving the left stick a bit more to the right than lower right? This would make the ball a bit higher with less power input, but I found it to be less successful for me. Just an assumption though.

Hey, thanks for the nice words! In the shooting guide I mention in the video (it's in the description in case you're interested), I actually tested the knuckle shot freekick a while ago. Unfortunately, it's not very reliable, so I didn't show it here, but good catch nonetheless😀

Hey! It's an old habit really, no specific reason. In the early PES versions, I actually used the standard PES controls to shoot, but later I was playing FIFA at a friend's place where everybody used the FIFA controls, so I got used to that and never changed back. It's really just being used to it now, I don't think there's any advantage or anything😀
