This defiantly solved my issue, went on a 7 game draw/loosing streak. I turned my tempo down a notch and went on to batter Westham 6-0. Lucas Moura came off the bench and scored 2 goals with 3 assists and got a matchrating of 9.9 lol.

This was great advice. Definitely converting more chances. Had the mentality that playing faster was better but sometimes slowing down is better.

I was the same Jimmy. I think with non-Elite teams too. Players make poor decisions playing at pace.

This was the answer 😂. In my last 9 games I scored more than 1 goal in 1 game. Naturally if you only score 1 or less it’s far more difficult to win. Went out all the cups, champions league and lost 2 league games. Put tempo down and I’ve scored 6,5, and 4!

This might be what's been messing me up! I was 2nd in Championship with Northampton 20 games in, 28 games ive dropped to 9th with 6 ties and a loss in last 7. Will let you know if this helps!

Watch highlights of the shots off target. See what’s happening. My players were snatching at them, picking the bad options. That’s what made me turn down the tempo

Hi! I'm playing with Córdoba (3rd Spanish league), with a 4-2-3-1 with inverse wings and a 2nd striker in attack to help them while scoring goals. I started the season winning easily most games (like 3-1, 4-0...), even against direct rivals. But suddenly I started to draw/loose games with many shots off and many chances, while rivals scoring with only 1 or 2 attempts. That happens even against the last in the table... My 2nd striker and the half forward (not english speaker, don't know if its called like that) were scoring many goals before the current situation. Any ideas? Also, how many times should I train chance conversion per week?

If you aren't doing it already, you might try rotating your players. I would always have a mid season slump before realizing that I wasn't rotating my players enough.

@@PoolProfessionals I try to do it, but in this team, I have like 4 players (including the stricker) who are MUCH better than the rest of the team. They also have the most important contract role. Should I rotate them even so?

I'd rotate your best players if they are showing as heavy match fatigue. Help them recover. I'd train chance conv once a week too.

@@TheBusbyBabes Hmm shouldn't be too hard to create chances. Assuming it's an AF up front, do you have runners from midfield. IF seems to be the best wide option for those systems too

Training with Chance Conversion. Watching the specific chances and trying to work out why. Are they blocked or off target. How's the composure and technique?

Just tried this with man utd first game we lost 1-0 to arsenal had 1 shot on target then beat bournemouth 2-1 22 shots only 6 on target idk why we just cant hit the target lmao

Hey Tom. Thanks for watching. Yeah, it still happens to me too. I find watching the specific shots off target helps. If they are being blocked, you might want to try going more direct, stopping the defence for getting organised. Or even playing quicker. Asking certain players to take more risks. It will also take a number of games and training for your players to get used to playing at a different tempo

@@tomrowland8105 After the game, go to the analytics, then team data. Check the shots section and you can watch each one. Might need to do a video on this. Seems people don't know where it is haha

Have you tried Work Ball into the Box? Also, look game by game and see who is taking the shots. Put the worst guys on Shoot Less Often
