Ya a drop of super glue on the bezel will stop them from turning. Two hundred and fifty bucks for those fenders is a great deal, there not perfect but what the hey. Plus now another motor. I guess now the rebuild will start soon. It’s good to see the refer keeping you busy and it seems to be almost trouble free. A money maker there. That’s so crazy $1500 for these fenders , OMG . Shops hours rates 150-$180 an hour parking 🅿️ went up from $100 to $250 a month and rates are worst , it’s gonna be a blood 🅰️ bath this and next year to anyone to survive, it’s way worst than 2007

Not sure but with front and rear brackets the cheapest hodgebuilts I’ve ever found is $1300. If you can find them for $500 I’ll buy all of them regardless of the grade. These low air brackets and rear brackets 4 states wants $900 alone.

My 579 with a paccar is a 2020 with direct drive 12 speed automatic.. salesman says 7.5 loaded bullshit I get between 5 & 6 all in Peterbilt says this is normal so salesman suck period they want that commission doesn’t matter want you think .. the 579 was designed as fleet truck for all really not meant for Hiway use lite duty

It’s not built any different than a 389 or w900. The Paccar, well sorry you got suckered into that. The 12 speed is overdrive however, there must be something wrong with yours or your driving style because one thing those engines get is mpg. Hell fancy the w900 gets low 6s.

@@TruckingTogether Peterbilt & Kenworth both says nothing wrong it had a cam put in under warranty by pacccar they gave me a 7 year 700 thousand on major engine components must be a lemon my 700 horsepower series 60 in my 379 got 6 mpg all the time in the mountains I ran California regularly for 3 years over achieving as I ran 140 thousand miles a year oh well would not by another one looking for 1996 to 2004 ELD exempt 379 bed & breakfast sleeper my 579 has 423000 on it paccar take over loan if any one interested must be able to put it in your name

@@TruckingTogether more than likely just going to park it & send back for repo I use a truck shop in Dyersville iowa they built my series 60 Detroit with marine cam 700 hp terry is a great shop to go to anyway good luck with your trucks …. I found out the deal on my truck I called paccar they said E w Wiley in Fargo North Dakota ordered these trucks factory tune for 64 miles an hour I drive 70 & up no fuel mileage there plus iowa fuel has more than 20% bio it’s garbage fuel anyway Over achiever that’s right doing the deal

Fancy’s have been on over 3 years now and are fine. High Maintenance and the trailer definitely not. Both the same mats both purchased from TSC, somewhere along the line quality went way down it seems
