I think my favourite one from this video was 2013 Worlds qualifications. Also, I really like her routine from 2014 Worlds event final, it was amazing!

shhe always was wonderful on floor, beautiful coregrafies, in particular her 2014... I remeber she was also first one to compete 2.5 twist to punch front to punch front in 2008
@GymAnalysis2 жыл бұрын
And she brought back the punch front in 2017-20 to match the new code :) I was happy about that change, even if it "downgraded" her past routines with the iconic side aerial.

What about Lari’s peak in 2014. Yet amazing video!!

It's another great routine, one that I really like! I didn't include it because it had the same choreography as her 2013 routine.

The question is at 1:03 which type of full in lol. Depending on which type it would have different deductions but I think there should be a 0.1 shape deduction regardless. Thanks sm for this, so much analysis!
@GymAnalysis2 жыл бұрын
I meant tuck there… I didn’t even think about that. I think you’re right about the defined shape deduction :) ty!

Just a technical correction, turns were not a composition requeriment in 2013 CoP, they were 1) double salto, 2) full twisting, 3) both directions, 4) leap passage and 5) D dismount. Dance passage was present in every CoP since 2005.

Larisa foi uma ginasta fabulosa. A linha dela misturava elegância com força

She is my favorite Romanian gymnast ❤️ Her artistry is so beautiful and unique. I just wish she hadn't had any work done on her face though 😕 She was so beautiful before

I would choose her junior year floor around 2010, then floor on 2012 during euro her first year senior and then 2014 ef floor nanning.

Confused with the scoring of 2013… no deduction for the big adjustment on the Silivas? Only 0.1 for a huge step backward?
@soffia1111 Жыл бұрын
Ikr I was thinking the same thing. The large step back is 0.3

How did that Gogean in her 2020 floor not get credit?? Surely
@GymAnalysis2 жыл бұрын
I initially did give it credit-I didn't see anything wrong at first-but the score indicates that one element was reduced by one tenth, and that one seems the most likely to have been downgraded in my eyes. She takes off facing "left" and lands facing forwards (from what I see?), which means she was missing about a quarter of a rotation. If the judges had been looking at a different angle, there might've been a different downgrade.

It always makes me so sad when I think about the absolute damage Larisa could have done on the international scene if she had been properly paced. The Romanian regime at the time very much pushed their athletes wayyyy more quickly than they should have (this is putting it VERY lightly, Belu and Bitang were NOT great in that regard AT ALL), which is why I think so many of them were so frequently injured and retired so early into careers that, realistically speaking, should have been a lot longer (think Bulimar, Chelaru, Porgras etc.). Given her 2012 Euros debut, she would have definitely medaled on beam and floor in London given a hit routine, and maybe even in the all around (Mustafina and Raisman would have put up a FIGHT that would have been so exciting). She was such a trooper, though, coming back and keeping Romania afloat for so long. And BOY, did she put the work in. So, even though it was so terribly unfortunate that she didn't medal as much as her skill, in my opinion, should have warranted, I'm still so happy that we got to see her compete at such a high level for so long. I wish her the best!!!

2012 Euros >>>> 2020 Euros I can't believe you left out the most difficult routines of her career (6.4) to choose the low-level and controversial routine from 2020 Euros EF.
@GymAnalysis2 жыл бұрын
Her 2012 routine was awesome; I agree. I picked 2020 because I wanted to show three different “stages” of her career-even if not her most difficult work, it shows great grit and perseverance for her to have been competing the way she did. There was also no good footage of the 2012 competition that I could find :(
@Romaniangymfan072 жыл бұрын
A 5.7 Difficulty floor routine is what she was competing at 2020 Euros after 3 years away from gymnastics. That is not “low-level”
@maxvillareal96542 жыл бұрын
@@Romaniangymfan07 Don't know where the 5.7 routine is, all I see is a 5.6 that would've been 5.2 if it were a serious competition. Anyways, GymAnalsys explained his choice and I'm cool with it, let's move on.
