Glow pugs are inside the cylinders and not outside. They aid in diesel ignition during cold cylinders.

Yes my bad. Mostly direct injection cars have glowplugs located in the combustion chamber. Thanks for the correction 🙂

The engine light is due to driving in high gear lugging the engine. Theres a point where the turbocharger sends ecu under boost code which causes the engine light. Try not to change into high gears below 2000 rpm whike going uphill. Also dont try to be on and off the gas again & again which also causes the turbo to give underboost code.

Drive ur car in manual mode in high Rpm so that def which is 17:29 cloked it will clean get automatically

First It's not "def" its "dpf" that gets clogged. Def is the fluid (urea) that we put in tank. DPF is Diesel particulate filter that gets clogged. Second it's the check engine light that came on not the DPF light. Both are different.

Seriously batau toh bahut darr lagta hai. But koi aur option nahi hai. I take some precautions in these areas like i don't switch off my engine if i take a 5-6 mins break. More start stops means more soot and more chances of dpf clogging. Also I don't start my car unnecessarily and try to drive it in high rpm occasionally just to ensure proper heating of filter to burn up soot. Rest its all luck. 😀

Both have a slightly different vibe. If you are new to such terrains (cold desert), and want to experience the same go for Spiti. Otherwise go for Ladakh. Its more adventurous, it's higher than spiti, has more diverse landscape like lakes and hot water springs and vast barren mountains.

Bhai I was stuck big time in SPITI last year because of the same problem. ANd the car refused to come out of Limp Mode. I have started carrying an OBD scanner for the same reason. After that 2 times, i have faced the same problem and was able to remove the limp mode. OBD scanner is a must bhai.

You should talk to your Mahindra service advisor at service station, they can help you. You should always keep his numbers.

Even they can't help me if check engine light comes on in some remote area. The stantard response is that you get the Vehicle to service center. We'll scan the system and confirm.

Right but they can give some tips to tackle the problem. Bsvi gives such problems. If the service manager is good and friendly he can help you over phone. Luckily I have a good SM at kolkata.

Sir ji aap or aap ki video to achi hoti hi hai per aap ko ek baat boltaa hu ki jab aap intnaa amount gadi ki accessories etc per kharch kertey hai to ek obd scanner aata hai 300 rs se start ho ker 500,800 m best mil jata hai online ya offline vo obd divice kafi help kerta aap ki ye ptaa lganey m ki check light 🚨 ku aai or kya dikat hai or aap problem ka screenshot leker apney favourite mechanic 🧰 ko bhej ke ptaa ker letey ki kya kernaa hai nhi to jo obd scanner code dhikhaata usko KZbin per search ker ke thik ker saktey hai or obd scanner se kafii haad tak fault code delete ho jatey hai unke liye company workshop nhi jaana pedtaa. Le lo sir ji ek ye obd scanner.
