Ya know, maybe I’m in the wrong but seriously doubt it. Last year, someone I considered family, a brother got married last year. I’ve known him since 5th grade. And we had a friendship where no matter how much time passed we always linked up like no time has passed. Out of the 25 years we’ve been friends I wasn’t really around 4 of them because I was desperately tried to get my other best friends life back on track. And because I did that, he didn’t want me as his best man let alone come to his wedding. I ultimately ended up being in the wedding. But what killed me the most was the person he chose to be his best man asked me why he didn’t choose me. I had no answer. He has reached out to me for my bday but…that shit hurt so bad I ain’t got shit to say. He picked 4 years over 21 years…I mean how would y’all feel?
