Yes!! This is my boyfriend of almost 10 years. He has untreated bipolar disorder and is off and on. He's sweet and kind but often not vested. He grew up with a domineering mother who put all her needs, wants, and desires on him. Growing up, his father was emotionally unavailable, struggled with alcohol, and was away for months at a time.
