resonates the day staff aren't v. supportive when I ax them to PLEASE 🙏 tell the patients they are calling to confirm for their sleep study to PLEASE brings Shorts & a t-Shirt or tank top to sleep on (or a night gown) patients will TELL Me that NO ONE TOLD THEM to bring in shorts or t-shirt/tank top to sleep jn; alot of ppl will bring in pants to sleep in It's REALLY important that the skin on our legs & feet can BREATHE when we're sleeping; we're supposed to sleep in a Sack. If you're sleeping outside; u have NO heat in winter in your apartment; sleeping on the bus or train? Fine pants are fine. Not in a bed where u can add blankets in a heated room... yes the temp drops over night; add blankets. Our core needs to release body heat & inflammation we accrue during wakefulness; when we sleep our blood pressure should drop a lil & the heat from our core spreads (through the limbic system I'm hearing) through our blood system causing vessels in our skin to expand to help release the heat. It can get trapped in layers of clothing like PANTS There's more surface area on our legs so.. I'll allow a long sleeve shirt over pants any day.. long sleeves should b avoided too however except in frigid temps during winter I know alot of ppl r gonna comment they must sleep in pants; 1st off, if u dont have problems sleeping at night, God bless If u need a sleep study, & u sleep in pants, I would beg to differ
