Definitely 💯, having my last surgery April 23, last 15 years I’ve worked on getting healthy. Went from 355lbs to 140lbs currently. I’ve had many issues with the extra skin for the last 3 years and been saving for surgery. 2022 I had my brachioplasty to remove the skin from my arms, now abdominal fleur-de-lis April 23. I’ve felt this tug to film this journey for others and maybe offer help to others who’d like encouragement and support. I’ve been a nurse for 16 years and I’ve seen so many struggle with weight and all the health problems that comes with it because I was most definitely there! Still juggling this decision on sharing my story but I feel like this reading is encouraging me to do so instead of telling myself “no one would benefit from this” and “all those negative thoughts keeping stopping me and honestly just scared to put it out there.” Honestly I would have loved for someone to be there and encourage me especially at the beginning and on my bad days. Once again you nailed my personality. I always overthink something no matter how hard I try. Thankfully, I’ve made a commitment to be more aware of it so it doesn’t dominate my life. I’m on the lower spectrum of the autism scale and slightly OCD. I have a repeatability tendency especially for film. I’ve seen “Schindler’s List” well over 100xs……”Scarface” as well. The theater was pitch black and I thought I was grasping the hand rail. It did a triple flip as blood rushed to my shoulder. In my obsessive behavior, I stayed and watched the film and rushed to Emergency asap. The creativity, my next career still hasn’t enlightened me.

Not every reading lands for me but let me tell you, ever since my surgery I feel like I came out as a different person so maybe I am overcoming a state of mind but most likely it needs some work. I really have no idea what I should distance myself from but I'll keep it in mind next time I find myself in a conflict. The day before yesterday I made a necklace and put a picture on Facebook and my aunt reached out and said she wanted one too so I'm gonna make it happen. I hope that she's not the only person who's interested in the jewelry I make.
