CAN SOMEONE PLEASE BREAK THE CURSE lol, No hate to any smoke players was meant, just was frustrated he's the only character I seem to play against in the series and guessing & dropping + interrupting everything while trying to talk is a pain lol ------- Also, sorry for the long hiatus. For awhile, people were getting burnt out on the series, and the sentiment was actually the opposite. Which I actually understand because before the Scorpion buffs he was fairly boring to watch. Glad interest has returned for the series (:

As a smoke main and someone who has played with justnasty (arguably the best smoke in the world). Smoke doesn't get alot of the stuff that scorpion, johnny, Tanya, nitara, kenshi, and some of the other characters get. All of smokes moves are negative, and his cancels can be d1. All of his strings except his f4 and 1114 string are negative and have a gap that can be armored through. His f32 can be up blocked and fully punished, same with his b2. He is annoying yes, but if you do the d1s and take advantage of his gaps, you can easily beat him. His invis set ups are annoying and hars to best yes, but most of the time you can use armor through that and your out of the blender. And finally we can't get 50% without using at least two bars and most of the time full kameo bar. While smoke is annoying, he is very beatable once you get the timings.

The only way I can consistently beat Smoke players is by listening to the sound of his low overhead string. There's a specific sound effect that plays when they do the full string and not stagger, so I just wait to hear that, spam upblock and pray.

Hey Diff, During This part of the video 1:19 u were explaining the anti-airs with scorpion B2. Well I went n tried it out and I discovered that u could do B2 into R1 3 Ferra kameo move into scorpion’s S4 into spear n get a full combo. Damage: 32% no meter! 😁

@@ArktikaZer0 yeah 100% agree, people ripped on mk11 but that game was wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy more balanced for competitive play, with the fb parries and rolls/universal invinicble wakeups and seperate bars for breaker and combos. Could you imagine how much less BS johnny or reptile pressure would be if you could just steal your turn back with a flawless block. (i know mavado can do it but it's kinda bad tbh). I do really like mk1 but this game was 100% designed around casual, low level players. It's so frustrating actually spending time to try and get better at someone who isn't a top 10 and then being bullied by some scrub spamming nitara ferra or homelander janet command grab

why are you not doing throw combos with Ferra? Also, one thing to get the ferra low toss conversion consistently is to do a standing 1 then a standing 4 into spear, more damage too :)
