Explanation for music choice:
Before using this song, I was trying to search the meaning behind the lyrics because, at first, it seemed like the song was talking about suicide, but the more I read and the more I thought about the song, I came up with this interpretation:
The song is about the suicide of the old self. Picture it this way: Walter sees himself better when he's with Paige. The old Walter is a thing of the past, and though he's still transitioning into a better person, he realizes that Paige is his home... his comfort zone. He relies on her. He seeks her for comfort (even when he doesn't realize it), and he depends on her to help him connect to the world. He doesn't want to her to let him go (or vice versa because he can't see a life without her. He needs her to feel alive because he was "dead" without her.
