Scorpions catalogue has been reviewed, songs & albums rated from 1972-2022 to come up with the ranking of 12 selected albums.
I have been a fan of Scorpions for a while, always been impressed by the singing and guitarists in the band. A lot of great albums with the top 7 having similar high quality and the ratings were very close between all of those with a lot of strong songs throughout.

I like your format as I think about album ratings in a similar fashion. To set an expectation a 7.5 score indicates a good, solid song that I wouldn't skip. 6.5 would be an average filler track; 8.5 and up is excellent. I'll keep it to these 12 albums listed best to furthest from best. The first two are kind of 1a and 1b. Here's how I rate these records: Lonesome Crow: I'm going mad -8 It all depends -6.5 Leave me -7 In Search of the Peace of Mind -7.5 Inheritance -8.5 Action -6.5 Lonesome Crow -8 7.48 overall... Plus.... I'll bump it up to an 8, considering it is an amature, basically demo record, with guys writing songs in English, even though they do not speak English. Fly to the Rainbow: Speedy's Coming -8 They Need a Million -8 Drifting Sun -9.5 Fly People Fly -8 This is My Song -8 Far Away -8 Fly to the Rainbow -9 8.35 overall In Trance: Dark Lady -9.5 In Trance -9.5 Life's Like a River -8.5 Top of the Bill -7.5 Living and Dying -8 Robot Man -6 Evening Wind -10 Sun in my Hand -9 Longing for Fire -8 Night Lights -10 8.6 overall, based on content alone.... But.... I'll bump it up to a 10 because it is a record that must be played from front to back because of it's guitar mastery and continuity. This is a legendary LP from front to back and I consider it to be part of the best moments in their career. Let's say a 9.... Great record with great songs but it comes up just short of In Trance or Virgin Killer. Lovedrive: Loving You Sunday Morning -9.5 Another Piece of Meat -7.5 Always Somewhere -10 Coast to Coast -9 Can't Get enough -7 Is There Anybody There -8 Lovedrive -9 Holiday -10 8.88 overall. Great record and I bump it up to a 9.... It could be a 10... Michael Schenker straight up fucked these guys after he literally begged his brother to return to the band. One of the most talented and yet, unreliable guitarists ever!!! Animal Magnetism: Make it Real -9 Don't Make No Promises... -9 Hold Me Tight -7.5 Twentieth Century Man -8 Lady Starlight -9 Falling in Love -7 Only a Man -8.5 The Zoo -10 Animal Magnetism -9.5 8.66 overall... bump it to a 9 because they figured out how valuable Mathias actually was, they figured it all out, and this song is the foundation of how they sound live. They stole a page from Van Halen around this time. Not a bad move. One more thing... I still, to this day, believe that as goofy as Eye to Eye was, it is still not as bad as Face The Heat. Face The Heat was an absolutely lazy record.

I say this is a good list. I personally haven't heard a single Scorpions album yet but they look like a cool band. Plus the only songs I've heard from them were the hits like No One Like You, Rock You Like a Hurricane etc. They seem like a cool band. Update: Yep, they're amazing.

You are definitely over-reaching on this new record... They sound decent.... But the songs are completely recycled. I don't consider it good by them at all.
