I first heard them in 83' when I was 9. I love that band. Never had the priviledge to see them. I really love the early stuff with uli.the sails of Charon and we'll burn the sky are 2 of my favorite songs.

I don't think he's tuned down here. Audio quality is just not that sharp on the high frequencies so it sounds lower, and he isn't hitting the high pitches anymore, likely to save his voice. He does stretch into a few higher parts a bit, but no, not like he used to.
