We were at this show! Houston was a major stop for all the best bands of the era, and Scorpions always ripped it wide open! Klaus was great. What a great memory. No clown makeup, no games, just the music!

This is absolutely freaking brilliant. I could have swore I heard Rudolf in an interview say they had around 800 hours of video footage in the vault, I hope that's true. Oh my, I just love those uploads of older performances - they are gold! Scorpions have been my favourite band since my teens, and in my opinion Klaus Meine is the best rock singer that has ever graced a stage. Yes, that includes Mercury and Dio. Man it is so good to see this video plus another one they just released of this same show them playing he’s a woman she’s a man because my cousin and I were at the show in 1980 in Houston,and how amazing it is to see this. Talk about a time warp man it takes me back to that night I was only like 13 years old. I had just gotten turned onto the scorpions the year before when I was in the six grade so I must’ve been like in the seventh grade oh my God what a great show because it was Def Leppard the scorpions and Ted Nugent. This was the best concert I’ve ever been to. My cousin and I still talk about this show to this day and now he sent me these videos, talk about a time warp 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
