My mom passed away April 5, 2019. She was a very strict Jehovah’s Witness. I think she was afraid of most rock music. Anyway, long story short, when she was sick with cancer, in her last months, I came home one day and she was watching a Scorpions documentary. She looked at me and said “These guys are really talented!!”. She resumed watching and under her breath said “I have been so judgmental” ❤️💔 Anyway, I’ve always loved them, but this was a profound moment with my beloved mother 🙂❤️

IMHO the best album of this band - melodies, arrangements and whole sounding! More over I have a great dream, let's Scorps rerecord this album again, but in modern sounding and mixing (+ add some legendary songs: Time, Hurricane etc).

I think it‘s the perfect Scorpions album. The anthemic guitars and Klaus' still powerful but more mature voice were on top of their game. Savage amusement and Love at first sting are my favorite Scorps albums.

It was a great album and great tour. They did this at Monsters of Rock in 88. I liked Crazy World more but it was a great under rated album.

I was doing some very clean acid. long story. But Klaus voice stood out among the 5 singers that day so powerful, clear and emotive. Excellent. Van who? No. We left 1/2 way through the Van Halen set. They were great but after the Scorpions then? No sir.
