I was there somewhere in the crowd, the show was fantastic, sometime in the show there was heary rain pouring down from the sky, i'm telling that because when we watch a live show on KZbin we can't feel the real energies that were in the air or the weather, i was wet from my head to my legs, i felt like never before, i was like a dynamite, just singing, shouting, jumping, dancing and headbanging, good memories from the show and from the fest itself, thanks Scorpions!!! thanks Wacken Open Air festival!!!

I agree with you! I remember when Rock You was released or should I say unleashed? The excitement that was in the air because the Scorpions 🦂 broke into the big time. They were the biggest band in the world 🌎 and their live shows were amazing! It was the pinnacle they reached and you only reach the Summit once and then look down! 😮😊

I Remember When Love at First sting came out back in 1984 I was 15 at the time but to be a part of the 80s you had to been there it was a hell of a lot of fun good times to be had lots of pretty girls and then some play if there was a time machine to go back to the 80s I'll be the first one in line to go back😊❤

I was there! True story, I met my future wife while finding somebody to share the trip to Wacken to see Scorpions. It was 19 of August 2011, today is 10th of August, so within nine days this is gonna be an anniversary of 13 years of our first meet. Such a good memories ❤ Btw it was so muddy and rainy Wacken and at the last day we thought we will not going to visit it again, but then we had visited Wacken at 2013 and 2014 straight 😂 Saw them playing at Wacken 2024 via Magenta with our 8yo babygirl ❤ She loves Scorpions, Queen and Chris Rea

Back in 1982 I was going through the radio stations, came across a hard rock/metal station called KRQR in San Francisco where I lived. The song playing was “Rock You like A Hurricane”, I really liked it and have been hooked on hard rock/heavy metal ever since though I like most music having been raised listening to the Beatles, Elvis snd oldies. I was 12 when I discovered the Scorpions and station, then In 1988 seen the Scorpions live at the Monsters of Rock held at Candlestick Park, and 30yrs later I seen them again in Lake Tahoe at Harvey’s Casino. I will never tire of them!! Thanks for sharing your memory.

NO ! That is in my Opinion bad stuff ! I´m a hobby-musician on Guitar, Bass and Drums, an with a little practice after my normal work I perhaps will play this to. I think, this was only for Kottak´s ego, this is no quality ! Look at drumsolos from Simon Phillips at Toto, that is stuff, which I won´t play after my work, an this is, what I expect from PROFESSIONALS ! They make this their whole day as their work, so I want to see things, that make me say "Wowh" ! And I must say, Scorpion-Songs on drums are normally no big challenge, they are no hard stuff to play.

This guy is comparing drummers based on drum solos? Kottak always changed his solos on each tour; this was a tribute to the then 'farewell' tour. I've never seen a drummer as active on stage as he was-playing, singing at the same time, twirling his sticks. Wake up.

Ya know? There are a lot of 80's band tours going on right now and most are a total rip off. "Queensryche Geoff Tate Karaoke" "Vince Meal and Nikki Vanilli from Motley Crue" I could go on.. But this Scorpions tour? FIRST RATE. Everything is LIVE. The opening back ROCKED. The show was tactfully loud but not deafening. Tempo live was SPOT ON, not rushed. Klaus hasn't missed a beat and neither nor have any of those German Rockgods. If you ask me, Scorpions are a German National Treasure.
