To be honest, Potemer shot himself in the leg with how he worded stuff out in his response. 1. "The incident everyone is talking about happened nearly 3 years ago". This did not help Potemer's side but only made the allegations more true as he himself said that the so called 'incident' was actually true. 2. "Mother and I went on vacation and I met up with a close friend that was 3 years younger than me. Our mothers' arranged it a couple of months in advance. (Description of the things they did)" This only made it seem worse as it was worded out like the two mothers themselves arranged for the so called 'incident' to happen with two minors. 3. "Strangers are calling me a PDF, when I was a minor myself! Today, I am 18, and she is 15. Nothing about our ages is illegal." The use of the contrasting ages and the words 'Nothing' and 'Illegal' made it seem like Potemer was only trying to justify the so called 'incident' by saying that they were both minors at the time.
