Very rarely have I heard the fans go that loud at Hampden. I'll be honest, I still don't like the distance from the pitch, but the fans sure made up for it tonight. It really helps when the fans see the players give it their all though, more intensity gives the fans more to cheer for, which is why Hampden sounded better tonight. This is the thing, BELIEF, Scotland for the last 20 odd years have been lacking belief, always getting told, aw we tried and failed, but should be "prrrroud". Why should we be proud for losing? We pretty much created the modern beautiful game, so we should be innovators at least going forward. I'm a firm advocate of grass roots in schools, getting SFA coaches in primary and secondary asap, some young new coaches mixing with the old skool semi-retired coaches helping the kids in most schools, then feeding the big clubs, even getting the clubs more involved with the schools as well. The government just wants the usual from state schools so they learn just enough Math English etc to fit into government jobs or retail sector etc if they do less well, but what about kids who are naturally fitter and like PE(which was me and lots of others as well)and where is the sporting connections? Nowadays it's all gym stuff Personal Trainer etc, what about our no.1 sport football? I would have loved to have played for one of the big clubs and my country but apart from being short, I never knew what door to knock on etc, it just never existed to me as a kid, I went to a local team as a kid but moved about so it never stuck, but as you get older things change and as you hit secondary there is no real guidance to help you in that respects, I told my guidance teacher I liked Running, Football, Roller Blading Hockey etc all fitness stuff and you know what they pushed for me to do because of my grades? An Architect! Why where did they get that from, some school grades that I HAD TO DO? I eventually wiggled it down to graphic designer, but went to college to do Art and Design but left as it was TERRIBLE, just not me at all! My English wasn't a specific level so never got into the graphics course even though I had my highers, but lacked English? I left after a few months then just hit the clubs, completely changed my life. It just goes to show you with the right guidance at school and them LISTENING to the kids, Scotland might actually get somewhere, but as long as it stays the way it is, we will end up still down near 40ish in FIFA Rankings. Grass roots all the way! Keep our kids fit and healthy 100% We need to get the SFA working with the clubs to get coaches into most schools pronto! Architect hahaha....yeah right! 🤣👍🏼🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿✌🏽

Both sides are very limited and either teams playing at Hampden come up against a good international team like Belgium,France,Germany, Netherlands,Spain, Italy in Europe would wipe the floor with either teams and a cricket scoreline to reflect the one sided nature of the game. I would say that the difference between the two sides tonight was that one had the bulk of it's players playing in the Premier League and the other one the bulk of it's players from the Championship. If anything Kenny is punching above his weight, given the quality of players at his disposal. As far as i can see, he seems to be doing a very good job. I mean even just at left back we have Robbo, Tierney, Hickey and Taylor to choose from and you have to play James McLean. then in midfield we have Aston Villas captain and a regular started for Man U alongside Celtic's captain. then in your midfield you have two Championship players and a League One player (unless i'm mistaken). So the fact that you guys managed to pump us 3-0 and push us so close tonight is very impressive and shows that Kenny knows what he is doing and has the players motivated. Cos if you compare both sides player by player then there should have only been one winner in both ties.
