Especially Jamaica (from my own observations) has a lot of irish so maybe some celts got freaky with our ancestors lol. I love all of my ancestors (Taino, African and European)

Greetings to all scottish people from Iran or Persia, a country far away from you, in the heart of Middle East; I like celtic musical instruments, especially the scottish bagpipe and interesting to know that we Iranians also have our own bagpipe (we call "Ney Anban") with a different sound from the Scottish bagpipe anyway, I feel proud to listen to scottish epic music perfomance, even though I'm not scottish ❤️

Be happy that’s there are many Persians in Scotland who made their home there and who love it. My father is from Tehran and has lived in Edinburgh for 40 years. @Vitruvius Antarchius interestingly enough Vikings and various other scandinavians settled on the eastern Scottish shores (most likely aiming for the much warmer and fertile shores of England but the Channel is a cunt to cross), this was long before what is commonly considered Scottish culture formed, most of which is a lot more modern that most would like to admit. English, Welsh, Scottish and Irish blood and heritage mixes a hell of a lot more than certain political parties like to have you believe, being a small group of islands that have intermingled for thousands of years.

@dsss b French, Spanish, English, Irish, Welsh and Scottish all have some degree of Celtic DNA. Pretty much all of western Europe belonged to the Celts before Rome conquered the territory. While many Celts fled the Romans up into Scotland, Ireland, Wales and Brittany, many also stayed and intermarried with Romans and those lines exist in Western Europe to this day.

I’m here thanks to Yutaka Yamada, the guy who composed Vinland Saga music. You can hear so much of drums like this in the soundtrack and is just AMAZING. I highly recommend the song “Two souls” from Yutaka Yamada, has so much inspiration in Nord music

I ha te how the Japanese seem better at doing cool Eur opean themed stories these days..like some of them seem more proud of or more informed of it than Euros almost. When I first read Berserk for example, I was really impressed and surprised by how deep the E uropean lore went. Like how the elf queen was named Danaan based on the Tuatha Dé Danann in Irish mythology, or how there was Yggdrasil and how they used the boulders at Stonehenge to be a portal through it etc.

I have the pleasure of getting to go to Highland Games in New Hampshire, and they always have live music there. And BOY let me tell you, these drums are so loud you can FEEL it. In your lungs, chest, head. It is a whole body experience when they get going on those bad boys

There's always something special about a good drumline.....Calls to the primitive part of the soul, which isn't a bad thing.
