The Golden Garden is excellent. My son left his wallet on the table there a few years ago. We phoned the next day not expecting it would be found. The staff had kept it behind the bar for us. Very good food & friendly!

We were there at Christmas. New Town virtually closed. Old Town was buzzing but not fully open. Different vibe at Christmas. Great video 👍

This area is called Praia da Oura and is 5-10 mins away in a taxi or you can walk in 20-30 mins from the Old Town which is far better.

Haven't been there as always go to Benidorm,but Spanish are so ungrateful for tourists, especially British. Have heard the Portuguese are more welcoming and hospitable. Is this true?
