We went years ago in the old town on the beach by that jetty they had a huge barbecue area they,d catch the fish and cook them there and them ,smelt beautiful but looking at your video it looks like it's gone which is a shame

Hi Kevin, I wouldn’t pay more money for a meal in a restaurant with a view , I’m usually looking at the food on my plate anyway, you can admire the view when you finish your meal and leave the restaurant

I'm well travelled and I find most restaurants on the sea front are usually average! They know a lot of people like to eat with a view overlooking the sea! But most of the best restaurants I've eaten in have been in the back roads of resorts! Portugal was once a lot cheaper than its neighbour Spain, although I haven't been back to Portugal in 11 years prices seem to be a lot higher, even taking inflation into consideration than they once were!
