We stayed in Gloria izzaro couple of years ago and purple turtle was open then.we are currently in Tenerife we just missed you,we staying in la siesta in the adults only roof top rooms. WOW just love it

At 1.57 mins in that road at the roundabout to your right takes you down to the old town and quay. Love it there must book my holiday for next year.

Hi Kevin, great video. Stayed in the Flora loads of times, been to most of the bars on the hill. Purple Turtle is a cracking bar. If you take the road on the right at the roundabout you end up on the same road as Mullians bar is on. Down near the harbour.

We stayed in the La florida apartments just behind the Superdino. Always went to the purple turtle for breakfast. Watched the Liverpool games there too. We walked up and down that hill every day for a week....We were fitter then.😅😅

Hi Kevin even though the hill was steep there was a big supermarket hiper dino and restaurants and other facilities in the vinicity so for me i could manage their quite easily .OK Kevin. David

The hill that you were on is not cardiac hill. Cardiac Hill is on the strip just past Bluebells bar coming from the old town and just past Mumbai Masala coming in the other direction.

That hill to right of roundabout takes you straight in back of old town brings you out on corner by Irish Harbour bar and Mulligans 😁 l walked up that hill every day and night to THB never once got a taxi 🚕

Cheers kevin stayed up that hill before in los fiscos hotel ,we walked down thst hill everyday to matagorda with few pitstops alright😂 but always got taxi baxmck as we did enough walking anyway ,we always ventured to new town though cheers

That bar on right at bottom of hill is new it's The Aul shellelagh, if you go on Google street view it's not there just some windows.

We stayed in THB Flora about 6 years ago- I was as fit as a butcher's dog after a fortnight😂 Ps kev: Asian Varadero down at the marina is amazing. Set menu but you can swap it for other dishes. If it's anything like 6 years ago, it's highly recommended 👌
