We had a night out in the irish bar ,Danny is a German singing the likes of Dire Straits and the eagles songs it was brilliant he had the whole place up dancing .

Kevin I've stayed in playa de ingles /maspalomas twice in the early 90s and don't recall any of that spot ,we had kasbah ,yumbo and irish centre and also a round shopping centre in maspalomas so this is interesting ,maybe your viewers can put me wrong or yourself. Cheers for upcoming series

Make sure you visit meloneras it’s the best area in Gran can! We feel Tenerife has sadly gone down hill ! RIU Gran can is a fantastic hotel and staying this Easter again. You will like Puerto Rico it’s nice

Ahh this will be a good series for us we love GC! Along meloneras is our favourite, we used to stay near the ‘holiday world’ place in maspalomas, might be decent for a video or 2 for you, gourmet markets etc upstairs 👍🏻

Well PDC it isn’t looks like it needs a good deal of modernisation so so dated Lanzarote for me every time this hasn’t swayed me at all, food looks cheap (well the Chinese buffets) at least but sting you on the drinks always nice to see what’s out there Kev thanks for sharing 👍

The best bars and restaurants are concentrated in that area next to the beach and regrettably i only went there once first thing in the morning i should have gone back , and contrast that to Tenerife where its much more spread out and there will be a lot more choice of eateries closer to wherever you are staying,

We've been going Lanzarote for years but have booked to go to Maspolomas for the first time this summer. It was good to see some of the bars and restaurants we will have waiting for us. How do the prices compare to Lanzarote? I'm hoping there's a nice family vibe in the summer evenings. Thanks Kevin for another great video.

The MacDonald’s was refurbished a year or so ago, a couple of weeks from closed to reopened! We like the Ciutadella restaurant down there.

That’s why I’ve never returned to GC. Those shopping centres. Who on earth thought it would be a good idea to have a bar with a guy selling t-shirts next to it and then a restaurant next to that🙈🤣🤣🤣Give me the promenade at PDC any day.

It's not all shopping centres there though, that one on the front by the sand is the worst and no different than most resorts, Palma Nova in Majorca being a good example, tat shops next to restaurants. We found the Yumba to be better for a night out.

Laughing at how many times you mention the Mc Donalds - that has been there for the best part of 20 years now. Both the Mc Donalds and SPAR Express had a revamp about 2 years ago but they are there long term
