Love watching these it's sad to see the state of the country while you the government have about 3 homes each. I'm from Newcastle and was super intrigued by some of the stories especially that young homeless girl you met. Alright billy mate ., To be fair the councils all over the UK are useless my friend there just as bad and as lazy as anywhere else , I used to work for the council and they all literally have no go or ambition in them they are so bone-idle and lazy it’s unreal and they get millions funded from the government it makes you think we’re all this money goes to right ., I’ve been waiting nearly 3 months for the council to come and fix the front garden wooden porch it’s a joke pay expensive rent and council tax for what ?

Thing is, the rents generated from the rental properties are supposed to maintain the properties and grassland areas within the estate, that's why theres large numbers of houses, as the properties have been bought through the right to buy scheme, so any rents stay in local government but money from the sale of the houses goes to Central government and isn't invested back into the estate, then the government cuts made that even more difficult.

I'm really not sure why you are in Ormskirk Billy, Ormskirk is a lovely peaceful little town. It has a large middle class student population as Edge Hill university is in Ormskirk. It's neighbouring Villages Aughton to the north and Burscough in the south are even more beautiful. Country pubs and historic canal side pubs. It's perfect Lancashire countryside really. Scott estate is quite a nice estate really surrounded by farm fields.

Those post-war estates all look the same. They had to build quickly and cheaply due to war damage, slum clearance and the baby boom.
