Anthrax definitely have reason without any doubt to be included in the big 4. They were and still are fast, fun-loving giants in Heavy Metal; commercial success has really nothing to do with why they're in the big 4. even if that was the case, they were definitely one of the most important thrash bands who gave a unique element to thrash. no need to hate on a metal band for being apart of the big 4; it's childish; especially for us metalheads

Anyone who believes that Anthrax shouldn't be in The Big 4 doesn't know what the fuck they're talking about. Period. The term 'The Big 4' was created during the thrash boom of the late 80's, and SPECIFICALLY REFERS to those four bands. Saying Anthrax shouldn't be in The Big 4, is like saying "I don't think the Beatles are The Fab 4, Led Zeppelin are." It's stupid, it's a name that refers to those 4 bands and only those 4 bands.

Anthrax shouldn't be in the big 4. Bulll f...ing shit, the big 4 isn't the best f....ing 4. It's the big 4 well because they sold the most records, where the 1st 4 topping the charts with theit album and by 86 where the best selling thrashbands in 86. The best is subjective but they had the best "comercially" succes in thrash, and that's what the big 4 is about, the 4 that made it big nothing more and nothing less.
