Just incredible , I'm amazed how he can skate that well , at that speed on roads filled with debri and rocks. Scott looks like he's about to come off but somehow manages to defy the laws of physics and complete the run unscathed. 😊

Totally fucking agree. Go look at downhill videos circa 2008 - everyone's riding these big drifty freeride boards with drop through trucks and wide hangers. The way downhill riders corner now compared to then is night and day. Scott Mano is an extreme example of this - all his standing slides bleed off energy like super fast. He essentially has better brakes than everyone else!

Louis Pilloni, Patrick Switzer, to a name a couple, have been doing this since way back when. Scott is a beast on the board, however, the tech and board setups have also evolved now so he has that benefit as well. But I wouldn't call him a pioneer.
