At last! The long awaited Pro 3 Custom Patch Bank is now here.
This Beauty contains Sequences, Arps, Classics, Paraphonic Pads (YES PADS!), Basses, Leads, Plucks, this was a labour of love this one, making sure the patches are inspirational, and very playable.
Many of the patches come with arp or sequence Data included, but if the sequences are not to your liking they can easily be turned off, or edited by you! or simply turn off the sequencer to use the patch live.
The Pro 3 is an amazing synth with three amazing filters, and one of the best sequencers I have seen on a synth!

Best preset patch I've heard for the pro 3! Most other packs I've heard tend to drive the instrument too hard into the "harsh" sounding range. Your sounds really make it sing like it was intended to sound.

These are great. Just purchased. Makes the Pro3 way more inspiring to explore. Thanks. I wasn't sure it was worth the price but it is. Also saved me a lot of time in starting new patches from scratch - these are also great starting points to launch into new sound design ideas too. The factory patches are so repetitive and over-hyped distorted noise!

Some of the best sounds I have heard, you make the Pro 3 sound like a Prophet 6, while the Pro 3 sounds pretty raw. I like both sides of this synth.

The only sound demo I've listened from start to finish. There are also some synth lead sounds featured, I'm mostly looking for fat synth lead sounds but not the atmospheric and arpeggiated stuff played all over YT by amateurs. Thanks man.

Thanks, Yeah 3 notes para. The way I have set the oscillators up they will automatically create chord inversions it’s a neat and unique sound 😊

Hi, I'm asking for some advice: I have a "virus c", "prologue" and "subseq35" but I would like to buy and have a Sequential in the setup and I'm undecided between Take 5 (polyphonic) and Pro 3 (monophonic but with 3 filters). What do you recommend?

Both are amazing synths, but it really depends on your needs. if it is something for basses and leads and polyphony doesn't matter, I'd reccomend the Pro3, however, if you want that sequential sound with some true polyphony then the Take 5 is best. the Sequencer on the Pro3 is also the best I have seen in any synth, it is very very capable. for bass it is the best sequential out there.

@@scottmcauleysounds I mainly use pads and make ambient music. For bass I am satisfied with the subsequent35. I was intrigued by the OB6 filter because my dream was the OB6! Thank you so much

@@maxatomico8784 I would say go for take 5 if you like pads etc. The Pro3 can do limited pads work, but Take 5 sounds great. I am yet to add the Take 5 to my arsenal. Possibly look at the Behringer UBXa if you like the SEM filter.

Great sounds, do you think the PRO 3 has more "bass" / Low End than for example a Summit ? from the Demos , just regarding BASS maybe a SUB 37 is superior, although the PRO 3 is more flexible in everything else...not sure about it's Bass...

The Pro3 has huge bass. Between Pro3 and Sub37 they are definitely both my go to bass synths. They are both great in their own way :) I would say definitely both pro 3 and Sub37 have more bass than summit 👍

@@cronenbergj the Pro3 wants to Growl, and needs taming to create creamy leads and delicate patches. Where as the Sub37 just oozes that moogy creaminess. But can also be pushed to sound growly.

Hi There, yes basically you install sysex program (links are at the bottom of my store for mac or windows) then you send the .syx file you receive in my pack to your Pro3 via USB or Midi cable. Latest OS is 1.2.0.4 and downloadable from here davesmith.wpenginepowered.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/Pro-3-OS-1.2.0.4.zip OS 1.2.0.4 is also a .syx file and can be sent to synth via USB the same way. full instructions in your manual it's simple, once you have bought the pack, I can assist if you having trouble working it out, but it is very easy. :)

Great, thanks for that. So they can all save to a user bank (or overwrite a preset bank)? Good old sysex. Its been decades. I do like the Summit usb l system where you can browse and load patches/banks etc on the fly and save them...

@@EarlyMist The Nemesis Zip will give you all options, either load to user bank, 1, 2 , 3 , 4 each separate bank number is a separate syx file in a banks folder, I also supply all the presets individually in an "individuals" folder too, so you can select exactly what goes where if you prefer :)

Soundtower editor is good for librarian, worth checking out. it works similar to summit librarian
