The bodies of both mother and son washed up in San Francisco Bay, just a few miles from where Peterson had gone "fishing" the day Laci disappeared. BTW who leaves their pregnant wife on Christmas day to fish when they never fish?! Scott hadn’t had a regular fishing license since 1994! The original discovery included 42,000 pages of documents. The evidence against Peterson is overwhelming, this trial is a waste of time. Scott called his girlfriend, Amber Frey on Dec. 9, 2002, 15 days before Laci went missing, saying that he had "lost his wife" and would be spending his first holiday without her. Caught in a pair of pliers recovered from Peterson’s boat, police found hair matched to Laci’s through mitochondrial DNA testing.

He left her Dec. 24, but I agree, even then, no honest and loving married man would leave his 8.5 month pregnant wife alone to go 80 miles to fish. You'll be surprised at the braindead Peterson fans who will come after you in the comments.

The context for him Saying he “lost” his wife was the friend who set him up with the mistress had found out he was married and told him to tell her or she would. His actions are the same as a cheating louse which happens a lot and 99+% do not end up murdering their spouse. Yes he may be guilty but he has been tried in the media with lies half truths and distortions this did not get a fair trial.

@@TSeeley01 He told both the friend and Amber he lost his wife. What's your point? You're a louse under any circumstances you tell your mistress you lost your wife.
@TSeeley018 ай бұрын
@@CeCe984 my points were that he was confronted and lied on the spot to the friend thus leading to the lie to Amber when the friend demanded he tell Amber or she would. That is context that explains why he told the mistress he “lost” his wife. He was lying cheat but most cheaters do not end up murdering their wives. People like to state his lies to the mistress like they are proof he murdered Laci. No, they are only proof he was a scummy person and lying cheat. Some people cheat and lie about it both to their spouse and lover.

It was national headline news, daily, from when she went missing all the way through to his conviction and beyond. I don’t even remember Nancy Grace covering Laci’s disappearance or the trial. If she did, I wasn’t watching. I was starting my own family at the same time as Laci, we had things in common. I felt for her and her family. I've got a problem with the concept of exhausting your appeals after a conviction, but I've got issues with the judicial system due to my own encounters with it and serious doubts about the integrity of police and politically driven prosecutors more interested in getting a conviction than they are in seeking justice in a high profile case where everyone is wanting a conviction

Scott Peterson was in a trial by media, which this channel is reinforcing. Evidence is evidence and everyone has a right to a fair trial. Maybe years later new evidence or DNA advancements take place and convicts have a right to be tried with new evidence should it be presented. I personally never thought he got a fair trial regardless of innocence or guilt. There was reasonable doubt and Medesto wanted to get out of the negative spotlight. There's a whole innocence project because sometimes the justice system gets it wrong. I'm grateful for all the work they do! Would you rather have an innocent person or a violent criminal behind bars? We pay for the beds either way.

I’m so glad that Scott’s getting a new trial hopefully. And I hope they have a better group of investigators and detectives that can answer when what where who and why? Cause the original group missed so much stuff and they called the witnesses a bunch of liars or they said are you sure that’s what you saw? Are you sure that’s what you saw? They made them feel stupid. Maybe this time there will be no holes left in this case like the last time. I always knew there was something weird about that case. Something bugged me about that case he did not do this to his wife and child. Because there was a van across the street with men robbing that house, and it was said that she went over there and said something to them. The dog getting out and also the people in the park that were witnesses that saw her at a certain time in law-enforcement were calling them liars saying you couldn’t have seen him at that time because she was already dead. I remember that another person that they need to have a new trial for is Daniel Holtzclaw the officer Out of Oklahoma. How many of those females was caught lying about him raping them there was a lot they came out after he got sentenced. We also found out that the investigator paid a lot of women to give testimony saying that he raped them. And also there was places that these women said that he raped them at and he was nowhere near that place at that time with his car and some other things I remember that they never understood why they didn’t investigate that. That female detective she was gay and she did not like him, and she said before she retired, she was going to take him down. That was her own words. Investigator was the one that brought in that she was a gay, female cop. Personally, I don’t care that that’s just the personal thing but the lady said that herself.
