@@barrybonds1161 And nothing in the news is ever propaganda? I assume this is Fox news because there are plenty of other sources that tell and show that while Ukraine is suffering losses Russia is suffering a shellacking. A minor thing is the direct military damages, another thing is the utter loss of soft power. Europe investing in ways to become energy independent from Russia, the massive damage that Russian manufacturing is taking and which will become apparent in a few months if Russia keeps this war going, and the massive brain drain Russia suffered from due to the mobilisation and sanctions hampering the Russian economy on the world stage.

One side is BEGGING for money and weapons, the latter which they have little chance of maintaining and repairing. Vs another side that is the biggest nation in the world , self sufficient in cheap endless energy , food and own weapons production.

In January this guy was saying "Putin isn't stupid enough to invade. You're fear mongering." In February he was saying "Ukraine will fall within days. They only have territorial defense brigades." In March, "Kyiv will be overrun. It's just a matter of time." In April, "Kharkiv will hold. Russia won't retreat." In August, "Ukraine won't make anymore headway into the Luhansk region or Kherson. People do not understand that if it is a " Special military operation" , then other sides who help Ukraine ( YOU KNOW WHO) are not necessarily a participant in the conflict, and as such may not be a legitimate target. That' s why the White House keeps repeating: " We are not part of this war".However, if you help another side in any way, in a war, you are part of the war.I know, seems stupid to me, but that is how lawyers make their living , by making these rules.

The USA does not want Ukraine to win the war at all! It is obvious that Ukraine will be supplied only as much arms by the Americans and American-dominated NATO as is necessary to keep the Ukrainian front from collapsing. NATO is the extended arm of the US military-industrial complex (US MIC) and acts in the interests of this complex. But in the interest of the US MIC is not a victory for Ukraine, but a long war that Russia should win in the end. For Russia, which occupies Ukraine, is very useful as a powerful enemy necessary to justify the armament of the NATO, from which the US military-industrial complex benefits extremely. Also, the long and bloody war before the occupation of Ukraine by the Russians is very useful for the US military-industrial complex, because of course it creates enormous fear among the populations of the NATO countries. So Ukraine gets only enough weapons to continue the fight but not to win. Others than me have also already noticed that the Americans don't want Ukraine to win the war at all. Like also the Portuguese political scientist, politician, consultant and author Bruno Maçães who wrote that "the US doesn't want Ukraine to win the war. That's a disturbing conclusion, but hard to avoid." There's no doubt that the US military-industrial complex had positive aspects because it was one of the main reasons for American victory in WWII and the Cold War. But unfortunately, the result of WWII and the Cold War is an extremely influential US military-industrial complex (MIC). The US MIC is so influential because of its enormous financial resources and because it is one of the largest employers in the USA. One can see that also in today's war in Ukraine. Because there is only one victor in these wars and that is the US military-industrial complex. According to Western propaganda, the right of peoples to self-determination does not apply to the Russians in the Donbas. If the Ukrainian government had not denied the Russians their right to self-determination and had allowed a referendum, the Russian war against Ukraine would not exist today. Because for Russia, one of the main reasons for the war was that the Ukrainian army was shooting at Russians in the Donbas. But if there had been a referendum, the people of Donbas would have opted for unification with Russia. The Ukrainian government should have agreed and Russia would not have the main reason for the war against Ukraine. But that's not told in the Western media, because it shows that not only the Russians are to blame for the outbreak of the war. What is also worth noting is the fact that shortly after the Russian attack began, the Ukrainian government was ready to negotiate. But such negotiations were prevented by NATO. Ukraine was told to fight and not to negotiate.Of course, the attack on Ukraine is a mistake and a crime, but a mistake and a crime that has been provoked for years. The longer the war lasts, the more the MIC benefits. The Ukrainian government is a minion and a tool of the USA. The Ukrainian government was ordered to provoke the Russians and the Ukrainian government did that. The American government wanted this because the war Russia vs Ukraine is very useful. Why? To answer this question one only have to know who has very, very, very much influence in the USA and uses this influence to influence American foreign policy. Other states have an armaments industry; in the US, the armaments industry has the state. Namely the US military-industrial complex is a kind of co-governance of the USA. The US MIC uses Russia to justify military spending. The term military-industrial complex is used in socio-critical analyzes to describe the close cooperation and mutual relationships between politicians, representatives of the military and representatives of the defense industry. That explains the cause of the behavior of the USA. The influence of the MIC lobby is now state-bearing in USA. It's not like the MIC has absolute power in the USA. Not all US Presidents are MIC puppets. In any case, the MIC does not always succeed in establishing docile presidents in office. But mostly the US presidents are in the puppets of the MIC. Today's American President Joe Biden also as an important politician before he became President advocated always the use of force in foreign policy. ALWAYS! It is evident that as President he is a useful servant of the US MIC. All of his foreign policy advisors are war hawks funded by the US MIC. Shifts in values and the collapse of communism have ushered in a new era for the military-industrial complex. The Department of Defense works in coordination with traditional military-industrial complex aligned companies such as Lockheed Martin and Northrop Grumman. So at the end of the Cold War, American defense contractors bewailed what they called declining government weapons spending. They saw escalation of tensions, such as with Russia over Ukraine, as new opportunities for increased weapons sales, and have pushed the political system, both directly and through industry groups such as the National Defense Industrial Association, to spend more on military hardware. Pentagon contractor-funded American think tanks such as the Lexington Institute and the Atlantic Council have also demanded increased spending in view of the perceived alleged Russian threat. In the current era, the MIC is seen as a core part of American policy-making also because of the enormous impact on the American domestic economy. So the influence of the US military-industrial complex on US foreign policy is very strongly promoted by campaign contributions as well as through the influence of the revolving door of officials back and forth between the US government and the arms industry. So the lobby of the MIC now has a state reigning influence in USA. Consequently, the primacy strategy coupled with the US hegemony strategy was developed as a US foreign policy strategy to promote arms sales, which is also used by most US Presidents. The primacy strategy holds that only a preponderance of U.S. power ensures peace. As a result, it advocates that the United States pursue ultimate hegemony and dominate the international system economically, politically and militarily, rejecting any return to bipolarity or multipolarity and preventing the emergence of any peer competitor. Implementation of such a strategy entail military forces at similar levels to those during the Cold War, with emphasis on military modernization and research and development. How relevant the military is for US foreign policy is also illustrated by the many American military bases abroad because there is a U.S. military presence on all 6 inhabited continents with the total number of foreign bases of 1,000. Of course this type of US foreign policy is of course extremely lucrative for the US MIC because this inevitably leads to military conflicts. This policy actually made then Russia automatic an enemy. Which was useful for the US MIC because potent enemy was needed to justify the military spending towards the American population and towards the population of the NATO countries. So the US MIC uses Russia to justify military spending. According to the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI), total world spending on military expenses in 2022 was $2,240 billion. 39% of this total, or $837 billion, was spent by the United States. By the way, in his farewell speech of January 17, 1961, US President Dwight D. Eisenhower expressly warned of the interdependencies and influences of the military-industrial complex in the USA. Eisenhower, himself once the Army Chief of Staff, viewed the military-industrial complex as a threat to democratic institutions and democracy. The influence of US MIC prompt the US political leadership to want to solve conflicts militarily rather than politically and thus act as an extended arm of the armaments industry lobby. So the American MIC has an interest in the tensions with Russia. The enormous military spending in USA has to be justified and the IS militias are not enough to justify the billions for new weapons. Exports to European countries are also greatly encouraged by this conflict with Russia. Strong enemy states like Russia are necessary for this! That is why Russia was systematically made into an enemy partly also with provocations of the Ukraine. The Western media, with their anti-Russian propaganda, is another part of this provocation and production of enmity towards Russia. Ukraine is the useful servant of the USA in this game and therefore of the MIC. The ignorant politics should also increase the hostility towards Russia. Russians also make mistakes and simplify the propaganda. The biggest mistake then is the war against the Ukraine. Because of the Ukraine war, the US MIC can increase its profits immensely. The Russians reacted exactly as the US MIC wanted. I continue the comment below!

I'm willing to at least hear this guy out. He might not have been right on incremental developments of the situation, but I tend to agree with his outlook on the bigger picture of the conflict. I think his larger conclusions are spot on, hopefully cooler heads will prevail and not minds who look to profit off of this tragedy from Western private defense companies. The military-industrial complex is loving the Western response to the situation. The West taking diplomacy off the table means more profits for greedy, blood-thirsty sociopaths who could not care less about the average Ukrainian.

Only if you believe truth is a traitor and facts are dependent on nationality. Only if you’ve see all the media lies, manipulations, false narratives, and Intel-driven information campaigns, yet believe everything they say about the war, it’s antecedents and execution to the moral conclusions all “good people” should hold. But after Covid, mNRA vaccines/mandates, Iraqi WMD’s, Syrian Chemical attacks, Bucha war crimes, Russian rockets in Poland, Russia attacking its own pipeline, Russia shelling the nuclear plant it controls, the ghost of Kiev, defiant heroes at Snake Island, Gulf of Tonkin false flag, denying Ukrainian Neo-nazism (despite multiple articles over the years confirming it) while claiming Trump supported and defended it (despite video evidence of the real quote that condemned it), to media blackout on America’s failed support of an insurgent war in Ethiopia this month, etc. But yeah. Continue believing everything liars say and call yourself a patriot for doing so, even while this nations wealth, weapons and future is hollowed out, sold down the drain, to embezzlers, money launderers, arms dealers, traffickers, corrupt NGO’s, and anti-American transnationals. But quick, refer to the msm establishment handbook of cult heuristics to push censorship of speech, say conspiracy theorist when something is uncomfortable, scream about democracy with no understanding of our constitutional republic, and zero awareness that Mao, Stalin, Tito, Hitler, Mussolini all screamed the D word too, anytime they needed to defend the indefensible, authoritarian, progressively anti-human abominations that so many cheered in unison-until one day they all denied it in unison too. Lickspittles, sheep and those with the greatest intelligence for self-deception are always the must judgemental, certain; and first to forget their errors, last to forget everyone else’s. But I trust that even if you think he sounds more Russian than American, on some very real level you know he isn’t lying to you or simply pushing narrative drivel or polemical fluff. Anyway, we shall see over time of course.

I can agree people who are against giving ukraine money just cuz they don't want it to go there need to chill they always talk about how "we need to support our own people" like dude I get it we should but if you didnt notice there are holocaust survivors that have to spend their last days in this war and while the people complain that we should stop supporting Ukraine. like if you were in a ukrainian holocaust survivors shoes you would definitely not want the us cuting their support. and to anyone who reads this still thinking that the us should still cut support for ukraine I want you to ask yourself "if my country was invaded and there where daily missile's destroying my property's and my neighbors property's would I want support for the us so that the government can give me money to pay the bills or would I want no out side support?" think about that.

He was a radio operator with his country's armed forces. I think by virtue of just simply being so close to the fire he has a vested interest in getting this one right. The most recent maps I've seen of his shows the ukrainians have done more than to go to foothold on the east side of the Dnieper River. That is a major obstacle are natural one at that keeping the ukrainians from advancing. It is now behind them and they are still pushing away from the foothold doing more than just a foothold

Arrests and conviction for sex offences Ritter was the subject in two law enforcement sting operations in 2001.[34] He was charged in June 2001 with trying to set up a meeting with an undercover police officer posing as a 16-year-old girl.[35][36] He was charged with a misdemeanor crime of "attempted endangerment of the welfare of a child". The charge was dismissed and the record was sealed after he completed six months of pre-trial probation.[36][6] After this information was made public in early 2003, Ritter said that the timing of the leak was politically motivated in order to silence his opposition to the Bush administration's push toward war with Iraq.[35][36][37] Ritter was arrested again in November 2009[38] over communications with a police decoy he met on an Internet chat site. Police said that he exposed himself, via a web camera, after the officer repeatedly identified himself as a 15-year-old girl.[2] Ritter said in his own testimony during the trial that he believed the other party was an adult acting out her fantasy.[5] The chat room had an 'age 18 and above' policy, which Ritter stated to the undercover officer.[2] The next month, Ritter waived his right to a preliminary hearing and was released on a $25,000 unsecured bail. Charges included "unlawful contact with a minor, criminal use of a communications facility, corruption of minors, indecent exposure, possessing instruments of crime, criminal attempt and criminal solicitation".[39] Ritter rejected a plea bargain and was found guilty of all but the criminal attempt count in a courtroom in Monroe County, Pennsylvania, on April 14, 2011.[2][40] In October 2011, he received a sentence of 1½ to 5½ years in prison.[41] He was sent to Laurel Highlands state prison in Somerset County, Pennsylvania, in March 2012 and paroled in September 2014.[4][5][6]
