The most egregious event in all of rodeo. Should be outlawed nationwide. Only 10 Western states feature this blatant abuse. Many rodeo fans and stock contractors decry the event. Legislation is in order in all these states. Rhode Island outlawed both steer roping and tie-down calf roping back in 1999. Others should follow suit.
