Scott storch said that “Dre’s radar is impeccable.” So, it took someone with that to see past everything that Eminem wasn’t, and take a risk and try and see what this guys all about. There are a few people who had heard about, or heard his music, and just couldn’t pick up on the brilliance and capabilities that this artists had.

Snoop said he and eminem or another rapper (can't remember), were trying to come up with lyrics to that track but couldn't come up with anything and that's why Dre sent it to Jay Z. But Scott Storch is saying that Dre was always going to send it to Jay Z. So if what Storch is saying is true, Snoop's version of events can't be true.
@G212Made Жыл бұрын
Nobody questioned why Dre sent it to Jayz first. Maybe to see how jay would kill it in the verse so Dre would have an idea how to to flow on it?

@BusiswaThamsanqaDube Жыл бұрын
But clearly you must have heard Scott say Dre laid the drum and snare and Storch played over 50 piano rhythms that day and Dre chose that one…which ended up in the song … he even mentions his ear and says he went to the Dr Dre University of Music production
@sagcap7927 Жыл бұрын
It’s a co production between the two. Since most producers are also musicians. They play a lot of stuff on there own. So Dre could have had a guy come in to program the drums like he wants them to sound. But instead. He programmed them himself. So the BEAT is laid down. Scott being a producer too. Is also a keyboardist. So why hire? He came up with the keyboard parts on his own. Played it in. Dre being the first producer on the bill and over the entire project. He’s saying what goes. Giving and doing a co production duty to Scott. So they produced it together. And got songwriters credit for the track being created first, for the Song.
