I think the masters is the penultimate championship. No teams. Just a man on grass with a metal club. What is better than that?

Gordie Howe playing with his son Mark Howe in the NHL. Gordie was 52 years old that is special, as well. I think even more special. Mark played into his 40s the other son also made the NHL

Cool interview with SVP. I remember snapping a shot of SVP on the roof of a media trailer at St. Andrews in 2000 - wish I still had that - need to check my Mom's attic. Re: Tiger: it seems like he can't acknowledge that his current physical and mental limitations make it more of a ceremonial appearance at this point. I love both Tiger & Phil, but Phil won a major by 2 strokes at 50 and finished T2 @2023 Masters. The other T-Dub (Tom Watson) almost won an Open Championship at 59. Hard to believe that T-Dub is anywhere near that level of play. Agree? ✌️🪷⛳-Eric

Bronny could separate himself from his Dad by staying in college and making a name for himself at the college level. If he goes to the NBA now everybody will think he's only there because of his Father.

Why are the schools not paying the players. The money the make on tickets and mechandise is a tenth of what they make in TV contracts. The schools have been making billions for ever

Taurasi's trophy case? How is it not jealousy? To claim Taurasi was given as much attention as Clark is BS. I rooted for UConn women, and I never felt Taurasi was even Sue Bird level. Clark has already made more money than most WNBA players. Geno was the rock star in Storrs, The machine was already developed by Geno, before Taurasi showed up. She was in a line of many great recruits. Pro league players shame upcoming college guys? I can't think of any examples of that. Clark and WCBB got attention at the expense of the WBNA. I am sure I am not the only one who watched Clark while playing for a team I don't care about but am not interested in seeing her get bullied in a worse brand league. Taurasi just adds to the bad rep of WNBA and lacks awareness. Didn't work well for Swoops but then Taurasi doubbles down. At least she has an ESPN shill to support a phony company narrative.

Augusta National is a 6.5 mile walk if you keep it relaivley straight. There is not one flat hole other than the par 3, 16th. To win there you have to be physically fit. Untold numbers of great golfers have lost the Masters because the mental pressure is multiplied by the 4 days of walking up and down hills. I am not suggesting you have to be elite athlete fit. One does have to be far more capable than Joe average golfers. Not only are there hills but there are side hills and you are always faced with a uneven lie. TV does not do it justice. I have never played there along with 99.9% of golfers. I have Played at the Old course at St Andrews. On TV it looks like a browned out flat property. Like Augusta you rarely get an even lie. The hardest shots in golf are where the ball is a foot or two below your feet. When i played St. Andrews it was mid April 15 degrees or 62. The wind was only blowing 15 miles per hour. For there the perfect day. Augusta has a sub air system under the greens to keep them hard abd fast. They now have the same system through out every hole. As a fan a player or casual Tiger viewer there is no better venue, as it is the only course which hosts a major championship every year. Built on what was a tree nursery. It is the one championship all pro golfers want to win more than any other
