It was rare that Scott was so engaged in an interview, the interviewer got on Scott’s good side with humor at the beginning and Scott responded to that. Scott Walker was an incredible artist and is the Mount Everest of people from his generation and generations since. He threw down the gauntlet for other people to follow. Love him.

Scott has the most beautiful speaking voice, someone once commented that Scott could read the phone book and sound fantastic, I couldn’t agree more. I could listen to Scott speaking all day, everything comes across as interesting. Love u Scott Arlene ❤ xxxx

Really enjoyed listening to this, the presenter is clearly extremely well-informed and knowledgeable about various musical histories. Do we know who the presenter is?

John Schaefer is a presenter who sometimes delves into experimental music. He has a show on WNYC which is a city owned station going back to the late 1930's I think.

Although I'm reluctant to use such a word and I've no doubt Scott Walker would thoroughly disapprove of such childish notions, Scott is probably my musical "hero". Therefore, although I realise that I've no right whatsoever to have any expectations of the great man, I can't help but feel somewhat disappointed to find that a man of his intelligence actually bothers to vote in an election. Btw, The day the "conducator" died (an Xmas song) actually ends with the melody of Jingle bells.

I’m trying to understand what the CREEPY, WEIRD, ODD and STRANGE thumbnail photo is before downloading video. It looks like an older Scott, with a baseball cap on and holding a baseball bat. Odd, Creepy, Weird and Strange Photo.
