If Scott Weiland would have truly received Jesus, and turned to him with a heart of repentance for sin, he would have had a powerful experience with the Holy Spirit and be delivered from drug addiction for good! That is what happened to me on April 19, 2009. Praise the Lord Jesus.

His beliefs were none of your business. There are Christians who are still drug addicts and those who died in their drug addictions. Belief in God or Jesus means nothing when it comes down to people's willingness to receive and dedication to maintain "sobriety." For your information, the late Scott Weiland was a practicing Catholic (Christian) who wasn't a fan of organized religion...one of the reasons was due to negative judgmental people like yourself commenting the same religious rhetoric on any Scott Weiland video on KZbin you watch. This is the second time I read your same comment on a different video about your opinion about what he should have accepted, etc. It's pretty annoying and rude of you...which only further ruins the reputation of Christians who display Holier Than Thou attitudes. The man is no longer here, which is tragic and bad enough. Let Scott Weiland R.I.P and you focus on your own life.

@@africanbantushaman9351 Well said. Religious extremists dictating how the rest of the world should live their lives is nothing new, but they're feeling emboldened these days in the US, having stacked the Supreme Court to do their self-righteous, pious bidding. I knew Scott. He would've rolled his eyes at the original guy's comment. However one chooses to get sober is honorable, but no one wants to hear about it!
