i really don't want to like the guy, but he's freaking fantastic. i will buy the book, but these webisodes make me want to see a whole doc with lots of studio and concert footage of his whole career. and while i love STP, I have listened to the VR albums more, and was fortunate to see them live. Their energy is much more to my liking and I hope he someday returns to VR.

I don't think he's a poser because he doesn't sell tons of tickets. Is Justin Beiber a more legit rockstar because he puts more asses in seats? Scott Weiland is an awesome singer, songwriter, and frontman. That's fucking undeniable. If people don't buy his records, that means shit. He may wear his influences on his sleeve, but he's fucking great.
