I grew up with a pipe organ in our house! When i was 10 my family built a house & my father built a special place just for all the pipes & chimes. What a blessing it was! My father would play & Christmas time we'd sing. Wonderful, beautiful music. My favorite is still Handel's Messiah.

Jonathan and Tom - Even though this concert was two years ago, I simply cannot begin to tell you adequately, how much I enjoyed watching this video. Had to laugh though - the MOST talking I've ever heard Jonathan do on video. But I loved it. And frankly, this season/holiday for me is not the best time anymore. It used to be - when my Mother was alive. SHE was the one who made it special for us all. But she's been gone quite a while now and just the memories of great Christmases together - my two brothers, one of whom I lost two years ago, the day after my birthday - well it's not the same for me anymore. BUT I HAVE to tell you - how uplifting it was to listen to this concert and to be reminded a bit of when times were good and we'd hear or listen to all these wonderful Christmas works all the time. SO thank you quite a lot for doing it and posting it for those of us 1,000's of miles away who won't ever get the chance to hear you any other way. And it truthfully has uplifted my spirit a bit. And both the choice of music, coupled with Jonathan's incredible artistry in playing and Tom your wonderful videography to set the right moods, is sincerely appreciated. And trust me - I'll never forget the kindness you two showed me if you'll remember back some months early this year and your kind "gift". You guys truly have made my year listening to your music and watching your video travelogs.....all great fun always. Whirlwind trips and incredible instruments and concerts. Have a wonderful, blessed and a very Merry Christmas. And may you have continued success and accolade for your brilliance in a New Year - hoping for better in 2025. Just like we never forget our first loves as teenagers its clear that this organ is Jonathan's first love - he had his first organ lessons here under the tutelage of Audrey Robinson the titular organist at the time. There is a plaque honouring her on the organ case just to the the right of the console. Organ music lovers all owe her a debt of gratitude for her very fine teaching.
