I think the reason why people don't like you using a bow over melee is because you DO bow, a lot. Haven't watched ur hoplite vids for months but when the game first launched you have posted yourself usually bowing for most of the fights and some will find it repetitive to watch over and over again, this goes for any pvp game.

I would say less than 1% of viewers actually care about the bowing. It's mostly people who watch AND play that dont like it. A lot of people actually like that I bow because literally no one else besides zova does. Every other streamer/youtuber just melees

I read that the maximum protection that armour provides is 80 percent, going 20 per level. So prot 4 is the best u can get, and all more than that protect you the same

that is false. every prot level does add half an armor bar but there is no cap on the protection. you are thinking of the resistance potion effect which provides 100% protection at resistance 5 making you invincible and thus higher levels useless. also you take a minimum of .1 damage with prot 32k (the true max).

Each level of prot gives 4% damage reduction, so a single prot 4 piece would decrease damage by 16% However, protection enchantments can only reduce damage up to 80% total; a full set of prot 4 will give 64% damage reduction. At the end of the video, Scottish has prot 2 helm, prot 7 chest plate, prot 2 leggings and prot 2 boots, which means in total he has 13 total protection points. 13*4=52% reduced damage keep in mind that none of these take into account the stats of the diamond armour themselves.
