Considering the situation, I don't think Spencer could've done better in his first NFL start. Down 17-0 in the first quarter, #1 wideout out of the game almost immediately, and Kubiak didn't adjust the playcalling at all to compensate for the exotic blitzes Bowles was calling.

Say what you will about rattler but he made throws at Ou I’ve never seen before. He just made bad decisions and probably got a big head while at Ou. He needed the challenge of Williams and to leave Ou. But his arm is best I’ve seen even better than Murray which I thought was crazy good. Rattler just didn’t have the touch and mind at Ou.

I think people who are calling Travon Walker a bust are overreacting, mainly cause of the guy picked after him: Aidan Hutchinson. Prior to his injury (2024 comment), Hutchinson has been one of the bright spots for a Lions team that is finally becoming a contender. Walker has been alright, but when you combine how the Jaguars are still not showing any signs of improvement, as well as comparing the stats put up by Walker and Hutchinson, there will be people who look at those points and think "maybe the Jaguars made a mistake with their pick".

Anyone who thinks Walker is a bust is just an idiot. He had 10 sacks last season and already has 5 sacks this season. He was raw and is progressing very well. He gets compared to hutch a lot and people think hutch is way better, but outside of their rookie seasons they have extremely similar numbers. Hutch had 11.5 sacks last year vs 10 for Walker, and 6.5 so far this year vs 5 for Walker
