I would say these buyers would have to be sick to see these values drop but if they’re paying that much for cards in the first place then they’re probably not really worried about it.

I have to think the people paying over $250k for a baseball card probably don’t really care if the value tanks. They aren’t paying that much thinking it’s an investment.

It goes to show you to sell the cards while they are hot and put the money into a high yield savings account. Unless you just want it for your PC and hold it forever.

I think Mike Trout’s a buy right now - so cheap. 1st ballot HOF’er even if he never plays again. He seems to be healthy this year, so cautiously optimistic. If he plays a full season, he’s an automatic 120 RBI/40 homer guy and MVP caliber player. Also been going hard on Acuna and Tatis.

What you won't see on this list is Aaron, Mantle, Mays, etc. There is minimal justification for these new(er) cards to have or maintain such a high value. And yes, I get it - kids are the future of the business. Call me an old guy, but I'll stick to high grade vintage.

I haven't collected cards since the late 90"s. Just recently had a card shop open in my area and after doing a road call, decided to pop in. Ended up buying 2 Hank Aaron cards for $35 each!! I was blown away! Never in my life did I think I would own a Hank Aaron card! Getting back into the hobby now and couldn't be happier 😊

Unless Trout gets back to mvp status, his cards will continue to drop pretty hard. I think supers will always hold some decent value because well they are the only ones. Nothing I don't think will ever match the "covid hype years" again.....meaning ten cent base cards going for $5 lol.

Great video,, I would disagree on the BGS 10 and Black Label prices going down even though Beckett is in turmoil right now, they graded those cards when they were on top of their game,, I always give a premium just to the population report, There are hard to come by and the Black label wow, just like PSA 10 I think they carry a premium over a 9.5. BGS, GM with a sub of a 9 in there, I give a lot more value to a 9.5 BGS across the board because most of those will cross over to a PSA 10, and I think you’re wrong somewhat on the Jasson Dominguez as a Yankee collector, his prices have really held up if not shot up a bit with this upcoming season, especially knowing he is going to play a full season of course if he does not get hurt, Ha Ha keep up the great content and always enjoying you on spit balling cards!!!
