A Bobby Alloway built 1932 Ford Victoria.. This car was voted 2012 Street Rod of the year...a very cool Street Rod...Give Miss Vicky a look!!

My father owned a Vicki. He was a retired Navy Flight Engineer. He was only 70 when his Vicki wrecked from a loose tie rod, and a rod that was completely gone. The car had a fiberglass body, & a 1972 Corvette Engine. I rode in it one time. It was fast. It was the largest engine made for a Corvette. He passed away from the injuries he sustained 6 mths later. i'm not saying there is anything wrong with the chevy engine. i just feel that if you are going to build a car that nice you should use the same engine as the make of the car.

Back in the mid 60's there was a 32 Ford Victoria with a built 327 I used to see at the street drags in Los Angeles. What stood out about this Vic was it had a chopped top. I believe the front windshield was just legal at four inches. Never seen one since but will never forget how bad-ass it looked.

No..I agree that would be nice...but the LS motors which a lot of people are putting in are great motors...not to say doesn't make some great ones...but the LS's just fit well in everything...thanks for cking it out!

Well..like they say...be veery...veery careful...lol...you couldn't drive this car in the North...but in the south the roads are smooth..my guess is that the coil overs would bottom out..stopping the fenders from hitting tires..before it rubbed..when you build cars at this level you think out everything...nothing is left to chance... Google Bobby Alloway sometime...this guy builds unreal Hot Rods...high..High dollar cars...trust me...they don't rub...

beautiful car. but one thing i don't like is the chevy engine. a chevy engine belongs in a chevy. and a ford engine belongs in a ford. some people may disagree but that is my opinion.

Contrary to most of the vast history of hot rodding. There was a point in time where engine swaps were predominant. When the OHV Olds and Chryslers were the new thing and the answer to the low powered boat anchor flathead Ford. Historic hot rod engine but it makes anemic power.
