You inspired me to have a wander around the Cheviots. I'm currently in the Hostal at Wooler after a few days wild camping in the area. I'll definitely be returning. Love the videos - and thanks for your enthusiasm for the area.

What a lovely camp, my igniter often fails on my jetboil too mate. Lovely up there but becoming popular.
@northumberlandmountainhopper3 ай бұрын
Hi Phil,yes it’s a great spot, but three of us so close, it’s so popular !!! Mind can always find a space, I have replaced the igniter and it’s still bad so must be other problems, I suspect corrosion from weather affects parts we can’t see. See you soon Cheers Adrian

That was a grand spot for a camp, with that added bonus of a glorious sunset. I will get my maps out later and watch again to get a sense of where you were located. I agree that the eastern border hills including the cheviots make for beautiful evening shades and multipule hue's of mainly green. Thanks as always for taking us along ATB Big Dave Scotland

Love the kirk yetholm side, coldsmouth and the hill forts are a quick and easy pitch, and tracing the border wall each way is always a treat, thanks for sharing

Hi m8, just watching your vid and it may have been me wandering past for a sneaky wild camp lol. If I wasn't running behind schedule I was going to look at your camping spot but wanted to try something different lol. I had the two huskies with me if you saw 2 dogs also. Nice video as always mate, keep up the good work, ATB Andy

@@northumberlandmountainhopper I know mate , life has been hectic since my son was born so not many vids made etc so I end up watching vids and falling asleep in the chair 🤣. I did get a time lapse sat morning but never had time to make the vid as been working in Wales. Hopefully we will be able to catch up on a wild camp mate 👍🏻

No need to comment on this one...lol...what could we say that hasn't been said before....just keep it up. For somewhere different why not try a beach/sand dunes bivvy on a local (to you)beach area. Thank you again for sharing your time out. Helen and Katarin Juske-Laew, Stella, and Terri with Robyn.

Hi and thanks for watching, I will return to some forest camps when the midges have gone, Never really done dune Bivys perhaps it’s an idea moving forwards, just the parking to sort out, as Northumberland has some magic beaches Cheers Adrian

Could an electronic mosquito repellent kit be a help for you against midges etc? Flextail does a round torch like mosquito thing. It takes mosquito repellent tablets and it also function as a light too. I've tried before on holiday and it's all good. Keep up the good work - camping 👍

@northumberlandmountainhopper3 ай бұрын
Hi and thanks for watching, only used it twice and still nearly full as I tried to charge it and it took no time, if it performs like my older white one it should last 4 or 5 camps before a recharge. Cheers Adrian
