A fantastic video David. Have seen and captured a few in in the forests and cemeteries of Berlin, a while back though. Those were much more shy, too.

Thank you. Sorry for the late reply. It was pure chance that I got this as normally any sight of me and they scoot off up a tree. This time probably because of the easy food source she didn't react to me and I got this great video of her.

@@davidnorwich3771 You're welcome and don't bother at all about the late reply, happens to me quite often , too. The net is time consuming and an hour in nature sure is better "invested" than an hour in front of the screen😃 I prefer to go "birding" outside Berlin and I do whenever I get the chance. But as I still live here I sometimes have no other choice, it's not about purpose. Something else: In the last ten yes I observed there's still a decline in numbers and species of birds here.

@@davidnorwich3771 Hey! That's really a coincidence! How long will you be staying and is your son into bird filming etc. too? I want to go South , but I don't know if in October or November. If you find the time, make contact and we could go on a birding excursion together. Got a book in English about the best birding spots in and around Berlin. But if you only stay for two or three weeks, you sure have enough to do with your son . . .

@@martachtman1285 You are so kind but I'm only there for five days. My son likes street photography but is not passionate about it. It's just a now and then thing for him. I like this short video I got of a Kingfisher. Again just by pure chance! kzbin.info/www/bejne/g2a4ZqmEndWjnZY&ab_channel=DavidNorwich
