Scottish Girl Tastes Norwegian Chocolate part 2!

I took a trip to Oslo recently and picked up an obscene amount of Norwegian chocolate on the way home. Today I'm tasting testing the second half of said obscene amount.

The "Peanut paste" in Peanøttkubbe is toffee, all peanut flavor in that bar comes from the nuts, and there are no anis seed flavors added to the Stratos Salty Caramel.

You gotta have the flavours wrong? There is no aniseed or liquorice in the Stratos Salty Caramel, only salt.

Nicky T the ingredients say “salt and aromas” at the end... so maybe the aromas are aniseed?

Just wanted to let you know heheh... might be your tastebuds, but there is actually NO signs of liqurish in that caramelbar :D have a friend working for them and he was laughing when I told him that people could taste that :P

Salted caramel betrayal... Was looking forward to your review of that bar, but I'm equally disappointed by the presence of liquorice. Loved your Australian/NZ series - would be very interested in your opinion of the Australian honeycomb M&Ms. Thanks, Casey

Hi Kelly, was the peanut paste in the Chocolate 'Peanott' Peanut Bar similar to Peanut Butter in flavour/taste and texture? Also was the peanut paste salty enough to balance the sweetness of the chocolate and resemble peanut butter? Kind regards, Peter Skuce. St Albans. Hertfordshire.

Hello! It wasn't quite as mouth-gluingly sticky as peanut butter but definitely had a thick texture. Personally I could've done with it being a bit more savoury but still good!
