Hey Ryan!! Super good sound! Ive always especially liked your improv stuff! Your playing is always really, really clean, and you seem really bold with your techniques and you always have a really good groove, especially with how you use that space between notes. Do you have any music education or anything like that? Also, whether if you do or dont have that, I was wondering what kind of like practice and what things you practiced were before this point, and what aspects/concepts/techniques and what points of view/mindsets in those that you think are important in what you do. There's a sort of word-wall below this, but it's not really important, it just provides some context to why I ask, so you can skip or gloss over it. Thanks! I ask because Ive been playing electric guitar for a little over a year, and playing guitar, listening to & making music is probably one of the few and only things that i actually enjoy doing. But i have a really hard time trying to find the paths to playing and creating the things i want to make. The stuff you play is something I've deeply enjoyed since before I even knew how deeply I enjoyed it. I had a couple of pretty bad head injuries a few years back, and since then I've have a really hard time navigating & approaching intangible things like guitar playing. I can play some decently difficult stuff (like prog/tech deathmetal I.E rivers of nihil) but I mainly can only play like things other artists have made that I practiced. Through that drilling of tablature ive sort of learned some techniques (pinch harmonics, pick scraping, a shit ton of tapping, arpeggios), but I feel super limited, i dont know anything about like scales, modes, I dont know the names of any chords by their sound (I can play chords but I just kinda go by 'hm ive heard these used together so I can mess with these') and I really find it super hard to improvise to things or create material of my own that I enjoy. I've had a very deep and emotional connection & appreciation for music since I was very young, and I really, really enjoy music-related media, like anything from other peoples covers, guitar and drum playthroughs & improvs, to song analysis, to even live orchestral movements. I very recently started trying to figure out production, downloading DAWs and watching tutorial videos. Some of my friends are more far along than me (though still very new, like me) in production and playing, and express interest & encouragement with my efforts and try to have me participate in their processes, but I always feel like I let them down because my attempted contributions are very 'wing-it' and I feel bad about my lack of ability, because I don't know how to play alongside their synths and instruments. I'm still trying though and hoping I uncover the path to musical catharsis. Thanks for reading.

Appreciate that, thank you. In all honesty I enjoy making music and doing my own thing. KZbin is killing my channel with all the copyright issues and potential strikes and so hence the move to Patreon. Plus in all honesty, I'm fed up with KZbin changing their policies and making up their own rules. They don't support smaller creators.
