Scotties come in black, black brindle, brindle of other colors, steel, wheaten a bit lighter than wheaten. The mom is a scottie. One of her parents were probably black. I love scotties, I raised 5 scotties from puppies.i loved eachbone best. Lovely puppies, momis very pretty also..❤

How come the puppies all black if the mother is white?

Dad is black. Plus I believe the white is a recessive gene and black is dominant.

You get white, wheaten, brindle, black and steel coloured Scottish terriers, it's genetics, I don't know, maybe the father is a black dog 🐕

You don’t get white Scottie dog, they are always black, so mum must be a Westie with a Scottie groom x

Incorrect, Scotties can be black, brindle or wheaten in colour. The dam is a very light wheaten, but still definitely a Scottie.

Study your Scottie Terrier genetics vs Westie. They are considered Wheaten not White. Puppies can pick up black male Scottie Terrier dominance.
