Scottish Vintage Bus Museum Open Weekend 2019

The Scottish Vintage Bus Museum at Lathalmond held their 25th Annual Open Weekend on the 17th and 18th August 2019. I intended to be there both days but things did not work out as planned and I only managed to be there on the Saturday. An excellent variety of Vintage buses to the newest where on display or working the Internal service or on Shuttle duties to Dunfermline Bus Station.
Weather wise it was a nice day with only a few showers although it was windy. The wind and threat of a showers didn't stop me joining the others on 2 Open Top buses on the Forth Bridges Tour.
I was lucky and managed to take the Hidden Shed tour and had a real good look at the buses not normally on show that are in various stages of restoration.
Thank you to everyone at the SVBM for a fantastic day. My only regret was not getting there on Sunday as well. I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

That looked like a lot of fun, I'll never get tired of seeing that Forth Rail Bridge. I also loved the way someone had scratched 'Free Wi-Fi' in the dust on one of the bus windows in the Hidden Shed - classic! :-)

There certainly was a nice selection of vehicles. I agree the Caledonian was something special.

That "Caledonian" miniature looks very similar to a miniature I rode on at Transperience in Bradford many many years ago.
