👉 This was a historic moment and is Dimash’s calling card. That is the song of the songs for Dimash and us, his Dears (That is what Dimash calls us fans. The best comment from a Dear under the first video: „If you are having a bad day, remember, someone had to sing after him.“ 🤣 That one moment when a vblogger first hear Dimash and is instantly mesmerized by it... priceless and beautiful to watch. I love it!The song comes from the famous Canadian-French rock opera 'Starmania' 1978, well known in French-speaking countries) and is one of the most difficult songs to sing and in 2017 made Dimash a mega-star overnight. That's how it all started: In 2017 Dimash received a wildcard for the “The Singer” competition in China. He was the youngest participant ever (22 years old). Foreign participants were actually forbidden at that time. The director ignored the ban, believing Dimash would only stay 1 or 2 episodes and then go home. Despite Dimash's planned brief presence, his name was intended to be symbolic and understandable to the public. Dimash was given the Chinese name Dimashi and the 3 syllables were assigned in Chinese characters: ⭐Di - achievement ⭐Ma - precious stone ⭐Shi - dream, wish. The Chinese Dears also call him 'imported little big brother'. The competition is not a talent show. Only professional, award-winning singers participate. Nobody knew or heard Dimash before and he had to start first ... and after his first song "SOS" Dimash captured the hearts of over 600 million viewers and a mega-star was born overnight. The next day bodyguards were at his door and now he is a superstar but without airs... just our Dimash. The competition consisted of 14 rounds over 4 months. The jury consisted of 500 spectators who knew music, not just your average "Joe". They were well screened to be sure they would be able to judge the musicians fairly and competently. With up to 1 billion people watching this TV program and international interest was aroused. The performances were uploaded to KZbin ... and so we became Dimash's Dears. The Chinese organizers planned... but Dimash came, sang and stayed ... for the next 3 years in China ... but he only finished second in the competition because he is not Chinese (conditions have changed: 2018, Jessie J. Won).

Hitting the notes and singing them with the right sensitivity, nuance and skill is not so easily duplicated. It's the soul behind the voice. It is why there is not a lot of top level singers. The ones at the top have the right stuff plus innate magic.

SOS is Dimash masterpiece!! SOS is an existentialist song, ups and downs in life, depression and death, when you feel you don’t belong here. The lights in the back denoting all emotional stages and finally the wings to heaven. Dimash is the Most Skilled Vocalist ever!!! Technically and artistically that’s a fact. His versatility, wide range, stage presence, performance, background, technique, creativity, powerful and beautiful voice makes him all in one 🔝🔝🎤❤️🌹 The Singer , it was a Chinese show for highly respected singers to compete, Dimash was the only non Chinese singer invited because the producer saw him perform for the Chinese and Kazakh presidents and was very impressed. He is from Kazakhstan and was the youngest ever competitor in 2017 at only 22 years old. This was his first performance on the show and the audience went wild for him. When the show was broadcast on tv he had to have bodyguards for the first time in his life as he had become a superstar overnight in China. He is now a world class artist, turned 28 on the 24th of May but touring the world to sell out arenas with his solo concerts, he also performs in concerts with the famous Ukrainian/Russian composer Igor Krutoy, is constantly collecting awards, attends many prestigious red carpet events, film festivals and even models for lots of high end fashion houses. He is university trained in Classical opera vocals to degree level, also holds a degree in contemporary pop music and jazz with a major in vocals, and now has finished his master degree in music composition. He started his doctorate in Musicology.He has been having singing lessons from the age of 5 when his teacher noticed he had perfect pitch . He was offered a place at the Astana Opera in Kazakhstan but respectfully turned it down to pursue his own more contemporary musical career. He is a multi instrumentalist, more than 8 instruments and also sings in 15 different languages and has a range of over 6 octaves from a low bass A2 to a high soprano, plus a whistle register with his highest note so far being a 5 second D8 with vibrato. He is widely recognized as the best vocalist in the world. He speaks fluent Kazakh and Russian, is studying English and Mandarin and has conversational skills in both but not quite fluent yet. This song is a pearl of the French songbook is a Canadian-French cyberpunk-rock opera called Starmania, written in 1976 by Michel Berger (France) and with lyrics by Luc Plamondon (Canada) and immortalized in the voices of Daniel Balavoine, Diane Dufresne and Grégory Lemarchal. The song's theme is depression: In the 2021 version, Dimash faithfully and brilliantly presents a sentimental and melancholy interpretation! As the singing decisions follow the original structure of the song, which serves to show the psychological instability of the distressed character: From chest voice to head voice and then falsetto, the author aimed to show a broad need to win a long of desperation and the need to reach a very high perspective! Dimash, currently in his concerts, dedicates this song to his friends and acquaintances who left this world!

Dimash was born in Kazakhstan in 1994. He began studying music at the age of 5, the age at which he was diagnosed with "perfect pitch". Her parents are famous singers in Kazakhstan. He studied piano and singing. He later graduated in classical and contemporary music. He has a master's degree in composition and is currently pursuing a doctorate in musicology. He speaks Kazakh, Russian and English. He sings in 14 languages. He has received countless awards and honors at home and abroad. After competing in "I am a singer" in China 2017, he became famous all over the world. In addition to being a singer, composer and multi-instrumentalist (6), he has ventured as an advertising model, actor, dancer and audiovisual director. He is only 28 years old and is 6.3 feet tall. He lives in his country, Kazakhstan. He has a You Tube page (Dimash Qudaibergen) where he has posted many of his songs. He has just finished a tour that had been suspended due to the pandemic, starting with Dubai where he had a total success with the attendance of fans from 67 countries around the world and which was repeated in Germany and the Czech Republic. Currently he is preparing his solo concert in Almaty Kazakhstan for September 2022 and whose tickets are almost all sold out. I cannot fail to mention that he is an exceptional human being. He is known as "the best singer in the world".

This Voice in China contest is for Chinese performers only. Never before had a foreigner attended there. Dimasz got an invitation to participate from the organizers and long negotiations ensued. In the end he got a wild card to participate but without the possibility of taking first place. What we see in the video is Dmash standing on the first day of the competition, as the first performer in front of 500-hundredth audience, who are also jurors. Everyone is waiting in suspense for his performance because they don't know each other.

The audio and film quality here is terrible!
