I live here in Lima Ohio. Some parts of Lima are drug filled and terrible but others are great. I live near by the pony keg and it’s a great neighborhood to live in

Part of the reason no one was around while you were walking was that it was late Saturday afternoon in November. If you had done your walking in June or July there would have been a lot more people out and about. Collette street park is just north of the oil and gas refinery. Lima sits on 4 huge pockets of natural gas. Comedienne Phyllis Diller is from Lima, as is professional wrestler Al Snow. Where you were at was the center of town. The edges to the East and West are far more busy and built up than where you were.

Not a lot of people go downtown. Most people are bustling around Elida Road where there is a mall and many fast food joints. Those goddamn birds are always making a shit ton of noise there at that Methodist Church.

The noise of the birds is a recording of falcons to keep the pigeons away and from 💩 on everyone. People who was leaving church or just walking but would always get 💩 on. But it took care of the unwanted pigeons. Pigeons are scared as h of Falcons and know they will get ate. But that recording is annoying as h. And I always hate getting stopped at the light nearest too it. But I guess if it works for them then that’s all that matters. 😊

Lima and all similar size cities in the USA have changed for the worse since 2000 or before. Lima is just one example out of 10s of thousands. I would say Lima is somewhere in the upper 50% better than most similar cities. Check out similar cities in Indiana and Michigan for example

Lima is a nice town. I walk a lot or use the bus. The bus system is very good. Cost a dollar one way unless your a senior or disabled, then it cost fifty cents one way.
