You’ve touched on my worst trait as a director/producer (only a producer because that’s how freelance work works in my part of Texas, unfortunately.) Getting better every day, but MAN do I hate it.

I love the organisation, unless I fall off it, once I let it slip... then I become stressed and hate the mess!

Wow, the timing of this video is perfect, as literally last night I was looking at apps to help with planning and efficiency. Your videos are always interesting, and it’s refreshing to have someone not play into the generic ‘content’ manufacturing that is rife in this space.

Your way of explaining was unique and easy, due to which we were able to understand deeply. May God bless you like this and you keep making videos. We are always with you.❤ Thanks brother 🇮🇳

Great video. Curious to what is your label maker or printer you are using for labeling all your cases and bags?

Bringing your a-game to everything - loved this Scott! When you travel around for jobs does everything tend to live in the same one place at the expense of bringing more cases or do you re-pack for each job to keep things as compact as possible?
@ScottPetersFilmsАй бұрын
Thanks Ed 🙏 largely in the UK everything stays in it’s dedicated case unless I’m doing a one man band job on the go. But when I travel abroad for work I re-pack and only bring the very minimum of what I need, which isn’t ideal, but money… and then when there is decent money I wouldn’t be travelling with much kit, I’d be renting locally.

Very cool video. I'm also a bit of an organisation freak, which usually translates to everything always being messy because I'm never happy with any of the myriad interim solutions I manage to come up with. I was generously given a bunch of smallish peli cases which I've been able to put to good use, though I find there's a bit of a space overhead for the volume of gear you're actually able to fit in there (if foam is in any way involved). As for collab tools, I'm also always looking for the optimal way to organise my thoughts, reminders, scheduling info, scripts, etc. I recently worked with an organisation who uses Notion - its complexity can be crippling at first, but if you stick to the basics, you can easily create some basic templates for shot lists, schedules, gear checklists etc which you can easily adapt for any shoot.

Love me the organisation Daniel! I’ve heard some good things about Notion too!

Those CRDBAG's look awesome ... any chance you could let us know sizes for what you have in the Peli case? Love the ones mounted on the lid!
@ScottPetersFilmsАй бұрын
The ones in the lid with a set of 6 you see are the Fused Mini ones, the ones my tools are in are Small size, the wireless and all that are in the Medium size. Then the ones I have bigger kit in on the van and on shelves in the office e are the Large and XLarge :)

Love it! Did you use a Think Tank Production Manager? I’m considering buying the big one for C-stands, 2x2, and lights. Loving the CRDBAGs, too-I’ll definitely grab some with your code!

Hey Scott Peters, I'm a videographer from Madagascar and I have a Facebook page where I share content. I'm inspired by your especially those about process. So I want to share also my process on the works I did on my Facebook page because there are not my videographer who do that in my country so that's why I want to do it. So can you please give me some tips to breakdown a project? What are the things that I have to talks about? ...Thank you so much !
