Lesson 11: Colour and Background
Drawing at home. You will need a chair, a table, a plain table cloth, window or desk lamp, pencils, eraser, sharpener, pieces of paper or drawing pad and a set of colouring pastels, chalks, crayons or pencils
Lesson 11: The background is so important for we only see the colours in relationship to their neighbours. At night a colour will appear completely differently to during the day. I have drawn the apple but I have added a blue fabric behind and added colour to my background. The blue, both when pushed lighter and darker can emphasise the green of the apple.
In lesson 12 we will further look into colour and colour relationships.
